With over 570 million tonnes of global food waste occurring in the household, reducing that amount can greatly improved food security, reduce climate change, save money and reduce the impact of waste on our environment.
To aid in reducing food wastage, Aleph collaborated with Thankful to create Saveful, a movement that helps you save money, save time, and save the planet.
We helped Saveful visualised their future products to build a database of users and secure funding for future development of apps. Through a thorough landscape research and brand development, we created a scientifically-sourced calculator that helped users realise their savings potential. The calculator also helps users understand their contribution to global food wastage, and inspire change with a positive approach.
We also developed brand story and identity, UI/UX design, illustrations, and development of their website for both mobile and desktop. The result was Saveful: a guilt-free, informative yet approachable resource for users wanting to reduce their food waste at home.
